IAAPA with New President & CEO as of 2013
According to a recent announcement of IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions), the international association will see its President & CEO Chip Cleary (formerly Senior Vice President of Palace Entertainment’s water park division) leaving in order to return to the theme park industry after the end of the year. He will be succeeded by theme park consultant and IAAPA Board member Paul Noland (photo) on January 1, 2013. Noland is currently working as Principal and CEO of RPN Associates, a consulting and project management company in the attractions industry. As an executive with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and in several other positions at Disney, Noland gained experience from 1995 to 2011. Since 2009, Noland has been a member of the IAAPA Board of Directors and he is Chairman of the IAAPA Audit Committee. (eap)
