Philippines: Enchanted Kingdom Announces Two New Attractions
On the occasion of Enchanted Kingdom’s 20th anniversary this year, the Philippine theme park’s Chairman and President Mario O. Mamon recently announced the arrival of two new attractions. The park’s first project is to replace its 60 seat “OMNI Motion 3-D Master System” at the “Rialto Theatre” with a modern "SimEx-Iwerks 108 seat 4-D Ride Experience®". The new system promises to transport audiences to a higher level of experience, thrill and excitement. It will be implemented in October this year. The second new attraction will be created by SimEx-Iwerks as well and is expected to open in spring 2016. It is a custom-designed innovative high-capacity ride which takes the park’s visitors on an unforgettable and exciting journey to some of the Philippines’ most beautiful places. The ride features the latest 4K projection technology and a large projection screen.
Over the past 20 years about 20 million people have visited Enchanted Kingdom. The park is composed of seven themed zones taking its visitors to different historic times and places. (eap)
