USA: Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Open New Star Wars Experiences
In due time for this month’s premiere of the new “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” movie, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open new visitor experiences around the popular saga, partly based on the new movie.
The daytime stage show “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” will show the “AWR Troopers” out of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. Also the nighttime show “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 16th this year. Furthermore, starting mid-December, randomized tracks will be returning to “Star Tours – the Adventures Continue”, an attraction that uses motion simulator-based technology. Instead of each ride experience launching from the “planet of Jakku”, the attraction will be randomized to both start and end at different locations for every galactic journey.
For 2017, Disney already announced a new seven-hour Star Wars guided tour including a Star Wars-themed menu and an in-depth insider’s tour around “Star Wars Launch Bay”. (eap)
