Germany: Therme Erding Opens Russian Banya Sauna
Germany’s Therme Erding recently opened a Russian “Banya” sauna with room for more than a hundred persons as the currently largest log cabin-Banya worldwide. Surrounded by natural Siberian arolla pine trunks and in comforting 70° Celsius, bathing guests can experience Russian sauna tradition with infusions featuring bounded birch branch traditions.
The new sauna is the 26th sauna facility at Therme Erding’s “Vital Therme & Saunen” area. The bathing complex invested around half a million Euro in the new offer. Also, in the outdoor area guest can immerse in Russia’s Siberia region thanks to a modern and efficient snow machine from TechnoAlpin. (eap)
