Germany: Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Spreewelten Hotel

Renovation and expansion measures undertaken by Spreewelten GmbH in relation to the Spreewelten Bad Lübbenau bathin complex and the construction of a new aparthotel (cf. EAP, 3/16) are well underway: this month saw the groundbreaking of the new hotel, which aims at making the bathing complex and the whole region even more attractive for tourists. The hotel, which will be designed as a “farm house”, typical for the Spreewald region, will offer 60 apartments at a scheduled investment volume of some 10.5 million Euros. The opening of the hotel is scheduled for late 2018. (eap)
