France: Disneyland Paris Brings Marvel Theme to Hotel New York
For its existing Hotel New York – a four-star hotel offering 565 rooms, located just a few steps from Disney Village – Disneyland Paris plans a redesign so that overnight guests will be immersed into Marvel’s world of superheroes in the future. Under the new name Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, guests will await IP brands such as Iron Man, The Avengers and Spider Man. The decoration will feature props and costumes from numerous Marvel movies and television series. “[…] We’re going to create a hotel at Disneyland Paris that would make Tony Stark proud. I’m thrilled to announce that Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will transport our guests to the action-packed, inspiring world of super heroes including Iron Man, The Avengers and Spider Man among others,” revealed Bob Chapek, Chairman and CEO of Disney Parks & Resorts.
Besides the modernization of its existing hotels, the European Disney park, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, is currently heavily investing into the renovation of its main attractions.
