Denmark/GB: Universe Science Park to Open World’s First ParadropVR Attraction
At this year’s Euro Attractions Show (EAS) in Berlin, Britain’s Frontgrid company presented its new Virtual Reality (VR) attraction ParadropVRTM, which was developed in cooperation with Simworx and which simulates a virtual, interactive paragliding flight (cf. EAP news from August 23rd, 2017). Yesterday, Frontgrid announced that Denmark’s Universe Science Park will open the first installation of this new attraction in 2018, in a standard configuration for four persons. “We enjoyed a very successful launch event at EAS in Berlin and are delighted to be able to announce the first sale of ParadropVRTM as a result of our attendance at the show […],” said Matt Wells, CEO and Co-Founder of Frontgrid.
Jonas Luttermann, Chief Operating Officer of Universe Science Park, added: “[…] In 2017, we launched a large VR exhibition, where we worked with the challenge to make VR a full-body experience. We will extend our VR experience with this new key attraction from Frontgrid, where we will bring the ‘next level experiences’ that are capable of making virtual experiences physical. […] We can also see that we can make VR something social by showing other visitors what the guest experiences in the VR attraction. […] We are proud to bring the world’s first ParadropVRTM to our park […],” said Luttermann. (eap)
