Netherlands: Wildlands Adventure Zoo Unveils Name of New Rollercoaster

Today, during a site inspection, the Dutch zoo has announced the name of its all-new attraction, the opening of which is scheduled for this spring (cf. EAP news from 20 December 2017). The name of the new ride supplied by Vekoma will be “Tweestryd“, which roughly translates to “duel“. In addition to this, the zoo also unveiled that the new ride will be a Family Duel Racer type rollercoaster. Located in the zoo’s African “Serenga“ theme area, the new ride will invite guests to a head-to-head race on the premises of a former mine, according to the storyline.

The new attraction is mainly built by local companies including general contractor Koenen Bouw, steel company Hendriks Metaal, civil engineering and landscaping company Fuhler, installation experts Homij as well as IngenieursGroep Emmen. (eap)
