UAE: Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi Reveals Details on “Gotham City“
In February this year, Miral Asset Management already presented some of the signature rides for the “Metropolis” and “Cartoon Junction” theme areas, which will be part of the new Warner Bros. WorldTM Abu Dhabi indoor theme park currently under development on Yas Island (cf. EAP news f. February 7th, 2018). Now, Miral has also revealed first details on “Gotham City” – the third of six theme areas featured in the park.
Like “Metropolis” the “Gotham City” theme area will be dedicated to the heroes and villains of the DC universe: Visitors can look forward to a “Batman” theme world, featuring four main attractions, including “Batman: Knight Flight” – a flight simulator dark ride, promising drops, climbs, spins and rolls in an immersive environment featuring special effects. “Scarecrow Scare Raid” is also set to offer a flight adventure, rattling riders with dizzying maneuvers and “dramatic aerobatics”. With “The Riddler Revolution” Gotham City is set to receive a Spinning Coaster, families can look forward to fun entertainment in “The Joker’s Funhouse”, offering a hall of mirrors and a labyrinth amongst other features. Gaming fans will be able to enjoy the “Rogues Gallery of Games” range of gaming attractions.
Themed restaurants and merchandise shops will round off the offer for visitors in Gotham City. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will feature a total of 29 attractions – from thrilling rollercoasters to family-friendly rides and live entertainment (cf. EAP news f. April 27th, 2017).
