UAE: Warner Bros. World Abu Presents “Bedrock“ & “Dynamite Gulch“ Theme Areas
Warner Bros. WorldTM Abu Dhabi, an indoor theme park complex developed by Miral Asset Management on Yas Island (cf. EAP news from April 27th, 2017), has recently revealed more details on two more theme areas, this time “Bedrock“ and “Dynamite Gulch“. The theming and the attractions in both areas will feature animated film characters of Warner Bros.’ production studios Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera. The two zones, which will be located adjacent to each other, will offer a total of four exciting rides and attractions as well as two themed restaurants and two merchandising shops.
In “Bedrock” visitors will get immersed into a picturesque rocky landscape with towering plants, a landmark river and a waterfall – this artificial landscape will be home to “The Flintstones”. The main attraction in this area will be “The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure”, a scenic boat ride through stone-age wetlands and prehistoric neighborhoods. In “Dynamite Gulch”, guests will encounter the popular character duo Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote as well as beloved figures out of “Marvin The Martian”, “Yosemite Sam” and “The Jetsons”. Guests will be able to experience Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner’s dizzying dash firsthand onboard the “Fast and Furry” rollercoaster while families can look forward to an interactive flight in “The Jetsons Cosmic Orbiter”, circling a space-age landing pad. Marvin The Martian will invite to mini-bumper car fun with “Marvin The Martian Crater Crashers”.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will comprise a total of six theme zones, including the recently presented “Gotham City” (cf. EAP news from March 5th, 2018), “Metropolis” and “Cartoon Junction” (cf. EAP news from February 7th, 2018) areas. (eap)
