Germany: LEGOLAND Deutschland Reveals Further Details on “LEGO Mythica” – Wing Coaster to Become Main Attraction

The ground work has already been completed, the first facades erected and the sky-blue track sections already reveal part of the coaster novelty’s track layout at LEGOLAND Deutschland: The site in Günzburg, Germany, will be the first Legoland park worldwide to present a Wing Coaster! It will be the main attraction of its newly emerging 11th themed area “LEGO Mythica”, scheduled to debut in the 2023 season.

The ride, which is being realised by Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M), features passenger seats to the right and left of the track so that passengers’ legs dangle freely in the air. The family roller coaster will offer a fast-paced ride experience, during which a maximum height of 17 metres and a top speed of 15 metres per second will be reached. Forces of up to 2.2g are to act on the passengers, who will also experience a short inversion. In addition to the Wing Coaster, LEGO Mythica promises to offer a ride for younger visitors as well as various LEGO building activities. (eap)
