Denmark: Universe Science Park Announces Fire-Themed Edutainment Zone for 2021
The Universe Science Park, located in Nordborg, Denmark, recently announced the development of a new visitor experience called “Fire Zone“, which will be dedicated to fire and fire protection and will be launched in the 2021 season. Separated into three different theme areas, the new attraction is supposed to create more awareness for the topic of fire hazards. The “Science Zone“ will inform visitors about the different types of fire and how to handle them. In the second zone called “Burning House“, visitors will learn how to rescue themselves from a dangerous burning situation. The third area “Safety Zone“ will inform about how to create a “fire safe“ home.
“We are looking foward to welcoming our guests to the Fire Zone, with which we aim at educating especially kids and teenagers about fire, causes of fire, safety and fire prevention. […],“ explains Torben Kylling Petersen, CEO of Universe Science Park. The TrygFonden foundation invested around 874,000 Euros (6.5 million Danish Crone) into the project, which was designed by the Netherlands-based Leisure Expert Group. (eap)
