UK: Victoria Lynn Appointed New Managing Director of Drayton Manor Theme Park

Since summer 2020, the British Drayton Manor theme park, which had been a family-run business for more than 70 years since its inception in 1949, has been part of the French Looping Group (cf. EAP news of 4 Aug 2020). Now, a new Managing Director has been appointed to head the park as of this spring: Victoria Lynn. With more than 21 years of industry experience in theme parks, hospitality and entertainment, the leisure expert will – as the first permanent female Managing Director at this park – drive the development plans of the family-focused theme park resort and strengthen its position as one of the leading destinations in the UK.
Most recently, Victoria Lynn was working in a management position at Dubai Holding, and previously worked for other companies in the Middle East region including Wild Wadi Water Park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World, LEGOLAND Parks & Resorts and Meraas Leisure & Entertainment. She is expected to play a key role in realizing the Looping Group’s vision for the future of the theme park resort. “I am thrilled to be joining the Drayton Manor team as Managing Director at a very exciting time for the resort, with plans to continue to grow and develop an already exceptional family destination over the coming years,” says Victoria Lynn.
