USA: Universal Orlando Unveils Name & Opening Date for New Harry Potter Ride

Yesterday, Universal Orlando Resort announced the name and opening date for the new “Harry Potter” ride, which will start into operation this summer in “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade” at Univeral’s Islands of Adventure as a replacement of the “Dragon Challenge” rollercoaster that was closed in 2017 (cp. EAP news f. 25 July 2017).

Under the name of “Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure” the new highly-themed coaster will take passengers on a thrilling coaster ride together with the half-giant/half-human on his flying motorbike when the attraction opens on June 13. During the ride, guests will encounter some of the wizarding world’s rarest magical creatures. Further details about the new experience will be announced in March. (eap)
