“Smash & Reload” Dark Ride Now Also Available as Compact & Movable Version

A compact and movable version of the interactive “Smash & Reload” dark ride is now available, based on the standard version of this ride type by BoldMove Nation. As its XXS version, it is suitable as a stand-alone attraction e.g. for FECs, shopping malls, seasonal events or in between premises – the comparatively simple installation is possible both indoors and on an outdoor site. Instead of five vehicles, the also circularly-formed XXS version, which requires a ground space of only 144 square meters and features a technology hub at its center, is equipped with three vehicles, each seating six persons. These are also track-based and rotate through the total of four scenes, which feature themed media content. With their shooting device, the guests riding along aim at targets – in the case of theming with BoldMove Nation’s “TooMush” IP, at hilarious mushrooms. Alternatively, a gameplay based on the “Dalton” IP is also available; custom theming can be developed. Partner company Polymorph develops the associated media content, the ride system with show control components comes from Triotech. The queuing line to access the mobile compact version of the dark ride is installed outside the attraction (and with roofing if required).

“What makes this attraction so unique is that it offers a top-quality ride system and media on a very compact space at an affordable price. The XXS version is really meant to bring life into large indoor premises as we see those being increasingly present all over the world. Triotech’s worldwide presence provides a full geographical coverage, whilst BoldMove’s ubiquitous approach to design and gameplay ensures it fits local traditions and culture. The addition of this new ‘movable’ option opens exciting perspectives for a more flexible approach,” says Benoit Cornet, CEO at BoldMove Nation.

The first Smash & Reload standard attraction will go into operation this upcoming season under the name of “Champi’Folies” at the French animal and amusement park Le Pal.
