“Tutanchamun”: New Immersive Exhibition in Hamburg

(eap) This past Friday, the immersive exhibition experience “Tutanchamun” celebrated its German premiere in Hamburg. Through January 31, 2024, visitors can immerse themselves into Ancient Egypt – a time full of god-like rulers, architectural wonders and burial chambers full of gold. By means of a virtual reality area, visitors are playfully transported back to Ancient Egypt. The interactive exhibition is accompanied by the original voice of British archaeologist Howard Carter, who became known overnight after discovering the lavishly decorated tomb of the young pharaoh Tutanchamun. The exhibition, produced by Madrid Artes Digitales (MAD), is presented by Alegria Exhibition. In addition to the experience in Hamburg, another location is set to open in Stuttgart on December 8, 2023. In Vienna, the exhibition experience has been captivating visitors since October 19 this fall.

“Following the success of ‘Monet’s Garden’ and ‘Viva Frida Kahlo’ in Hamburg, we are very proud to present the digital multimedia highlight multimedia highlight TUTANCHAMUN – THE IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE as the next spectacular, immersive exhibition experience in the Hanseatic city,” says Dr. Nepomuk Schessl, Managing Director of Alegria Exhibition. ■
