(eap) Zero Latency VR, an Australian developer and provider of free-roam VR arenas, has reached a milestone in the company’s history: there are now 100 Zero Latency VR arenas worldwide (in 26 countries), in which a total of more than four million players have immersed themselves in VR worlds to date. “We are beyond thrilled to reach this incredible milestone,” emphasizes Tim Ruse, CEO at Zero Latency. “What started as an innovative idea a decade ago has evolved into an extraordinary global phenomenon. Players everywhere are discovering the unparalleled thrill and camaraderie that our games deliver. And this is just the beginning; we’re on a mission to keep pushing the envelope and bringing next-level experiences to even more players worldwide.”

Launched in Melbourne in 2015, Zero Latency takes players into virtual worlds where they can fight hordes of zombies, outwit futuristic robots or solve tricky puzzles. The next game in the pipeline is “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine VR – Defenders of Avarax”, which will be playable from September 25. Furthermore, Zero Latency’s free-roam arenas have recently become available in a compact, six-player version, so that leisure attractions that only have a small area available can also integrate the arenas. Several new Zero Latency locations are due to open in the next two years. ■
