A Piece of Hollywood: Movie Park Germany Exhibits Horizon Costumes

(eap) From today, visitors to Movie Park Germany in Bottrop-Kirchhellen can see another piece of Hollywood up close. The theme park, operated by Parques Reunidos, is the world’s exclusive exhibition venue for the original costumes worn by Kevin Costner and Sienna Miller in their roles as “Hayes Ellison” and “Frances Kittredge” in the western epic “Horizon”, which starts in German cinemas on August 22. The costumes by designer Lisa Lovaas can be seen in the themed area “The Old West”, near the entrance to the wooden roller coaster “The Bandit”.

“We are thrilled to be able to present something so unique to our guests this summer. The two costumes were flown directly from the set in Utah to us in Germany and they will only be with us for as long as the production can spare them, as filming for the third part of the four-part saga is already underway. For fans of Kevin Costner and Sienna Miller and the Wild West in general, this will be the first and only opportunity worldwide to see the two costumes up close – even before the release of Horizon,” says Movie Park’s Managing Director Thorsten Backhaus. ■
