Animalive Unveils New AI Chatbot for Leisure Facilities

(eap) Animalive, a British company that develops interactive animation technologies, has launched a new chatbot, dubbed “SAGE”. The name stands for “Smart AI Guide & Educator”. True to its name, the chat system uses artificial intelligence (AI) to answer questions from visitors. Suitable for leisure venues such as theme parks, zoos and museums, guests see one of Animalive’s characters on an information screen interacting with them and answering questions based on machine learning, which has the advantage of saving human resources. For example, guests could ask for directions to the destination they are looking for or find out details about an attraction at a theme park, animal species at a zoo, or exhibit at a museum. ■
