Austria: Software Provider TAC Launches Promotion Module

The new “Promotion Module”, developed by Austria’s software company TAC | The Assistant Company, gives hotel, fitness and spa operators the opportunity to appropriately market their offers and enlarge their distribution channels. In this way, long-term oriented customer relations can be created and new customers may be found. Furthermore, operators have the chance to efficiently fill gaps in occupancy by using so-called “Hot Deals”. In concrete terms, Hot Deals are special offers on a daily basis on which reservations can only be made at certain days. Beforehand, operators get the chance to promote these offers e.g. on their website or web shop, via digital signage or at the reception. The reservation is then made with TAC’s “Reservation Assistant”. Attracting especially last-minute visitors by discounts can lead to an increase in turnover. “The Promotion Module allows an efficient marketing of special offers. When used adequately, businesses can awake customer needs, enhance attention with regard to certain services and thus fill gaps in occupancy at the last minute,” Günther Pöllabauer, TAC’s Managing Director says.
