Austria: Therme Wien Invests in Expansion of High-Quality Relax Area

Therme Wien, which opened in 2010 – according to its own description is one of the most modern city spas in Europe and a tourist flagship of the Austrian capital – announced to invest in the expansion of its offerings in order to continue to provide guests with relaxation at the highest level. By the end of October, a new high-quality lounging and resting area will be created for guests. Dr. Edmund Friedl, Managing Director of Therme Wien (part of the VAMED Vitality World group), comments: “Our aim is to offer our visitors a relaxing stay with modern facilities and a spa experience of the very highest standards. The needs of our guests have changed, not least as a result of the experience of the pandemic. We are happy to meet the general desire for more space and retreat options, thus securing the future of the company as a healthcare location.”

As of November, guests will be able to use the new “Relax! Lounge”, a luxurious resting and lounging area with its own check-in, exclusive gastronomy offerings, even more comfortable loungers and many other features. During the renovation work in September, all guests can benefit from a ten percent discount on regular spa admissions, which will bring spa admissions down below the level of fall 2021. In addition, three times per day, two “Relax! Day Vacations” will be raffled among all spa guests. (eap)
