Austria: Track Completion on New Multi Launch Coaster at Fantasiana Strasswalchen – Large-Scale Project in Good Progress

In its 25th anniversary season this year, the Austrian family theme park Fantasiana in Strasswalchen (Salzburger Land) plans to present its most comprehensive investment until to date to its visitors: A 5,000 sqm large park expansion with a new themed area and a Family Multi Launch Coaster. The park has commissioned Art Engineering with the development and the construction of the coaster.
Construction works on the family-friendly rollercoaster, which will reach speeds of up to 60 km/h, is progressing according to the plans: yesterday, the last section of the track was put in place. The coaster will feature a total of five launches for unlimited riding fun, to be enjoyed from passengers with a body height of only 90 cm (TÜV acceptance provided), accroding to Mario Pauritsch, operations manager at Fantasiana. Marketing responsible Simon Spitzbart adds, „However, the coaster will provide plenty of fun for the whole family, e.g. it will also feature special effects.“ The attraction is scheduled to open this summer.
