Bad Sulza: Toskanaworld

Ever since the Tuscan spa resort "Toskana Therme Bad Sulza" (Thuringia) was opened as an EXPO project in 2000, the stream of enthusiastic visitors has not let up. The Tuscan spa is primarily associated with "liquid sound", the art of bathing in sound, light and warmth. At this year's ITB in Berlin, the expansion of the Toskana Therme Bad Sulza with a spaciously laid out sauna landscape was presented to the public. This is to combine new architectonic dimensions with visionary contents. The new sauna area is scheduled to open in September. At the same time, it was announced that Toskanaworld in Bad Sulza received the bid for its draft of a new hot spring in Bad Orb. Construction on the 21-million euro expensive project is set to begin this summer. The thermal spa and its pool landscape are then scheduled to open in late 2009. (eap)
