The Belantis theme park near Leipzig, Germany, which is operated by the Parques Reunidos group, starts into this year’s season tomorrow, implementing new sustainability measures and presenting new shows. The latter include the new rhythm & dance show “Street Dance Fiesta”, in which a cheerfully singing and dancing band is likely to put young and old in a perfect mood. Especially aimed at animal-loving children is the new mini-musical called “Conference of the Animals”, based on the eponymous novel by Erich Kästner. In terms of the storyline, the musical approaches the topic of environmental protection in that the animals in the show unite to oppose the destruction of their habitat by humans.

After using it, the specially designed cups can either be taken home as a souvenir or returned – the guest can either get the deposit back or donate it to a good cause. Belantis also cooperates with the app “Too Good To Go”. Visitors can use this app to buy leftover food for a lower price shortly before the park closes. (eap)
