Belgium: First Attractions Revealed for Bellewaerde Aquapark
Boosting further anticipation of Bellewaerde Aquapark – the new indoor water world which is currently under construction next to Belgium’s Bellewaerde animal and amusement park (cf. EAP News from May 19th, 2017) – first details of the water park’s line-up of attractions have recently been revealed during a construction site visit.
Highlights will include a “Big Swing” family slide (cf. EAP, 6/18) and a racer slide from German manufacturer Wiegand Maelzer. Dubbed “Aquaventure”, the Big Swing slide will invite guests to a splashy slide adventure on four-person rafts, rushing along the 117 meter long track, which measures 2.7 meters in diameter at its widest point. On the racer slide bathing guests will be able to challenge each other in one- or two-person tubes, speeding down two parallel, 105 meter long slide tracks at the same time.
