Belgium: Name & Theme of New Coaster for Bobbejaanland Revealed
“Fury” will be the name of the new, fire-themed triple launch coaster, slated to open this summer in Belgium’s Bobbejaanland (cf. EAP News from Feb 27th 2018). The new attraction, which will be supplied by German manufacturer Gerstlauer, will tower at over 40 meters as signature attraction above the new “Land of Legends” theme area. The design and storyline of the “Land of Legends” will feature the four elements of “fire, water, earth & air”.
“[…] Land of Legends will be the first theme area at Bobbejaanland offering visitors a completely immersive experience. The expansion represents the largest investment in our park’s history until to date. I’m convinced that we are about constructing something legendary. It will not only be one coaster, but we will include our “Typhoon” and “Sledge Hammer” attractions into the new, two-hectare large area as well,” explains Yves Peeters, General Manager of Bobbejaanland.
