Bostalsee, Germany: Center Parcs' Park Bostalsee Features New Climbing Adventure

Just two-and-a-half months after opening in late June (we reported in EAP 5/2013), the new Bostalsee holiday park, part of the Center Parcs Europe brand, surprised guests to the Saarland in early September with a new attraction. The “High Adventure” climbing course offers tons of outdoor climbing fun. Up to 20 people can climb simultaneously up to an average height of six metres, for example on a climbing wall or on the rope bridge. The course, which consists of 25 obstacles, also includes three zip lines (one at 50 metres, two at 75 metres long). An additional children's climbing course offers guests between the ages of four and twelve the opportunity to try out their climbing abilities. The “High Adventure” climbing course was built by the Xtrem Aventures company and commissioned by the Duprat Concept group. The latter is also responsible for operating the facility. The total investment volume for the new climbing adventure was 190,000 euros. (eap)
