Bulgaria/USA: Walltopia Opens New US Subsidiary

Walltopia, a Bulgarian manufacturer of climbing walls (Walltopia Climbing) and “active sport” courses (Walltopia Adventure) as well as of other attractions such as the “Rollglider” rollercoaster zipline, recently founded its new Walltopia Adventure USA subsidiary in Pittsburgh/Pennsylvania to push the company’s further growth worldwide. Ivaylo Sotirov was appointed CEO of the new subsidiary. In his new position, he has big ambitions for the amusement industry and aims at realizing constant innovation to increase the company’s market shares.
“I have known Ivaylo for eleven years and I am confident he is the right fit for us. I surely set the bar high for him – I am determined to make Walltopia Adventure a reflection of Walltopia Climbing in terms of market share and secure our leading position in the industry, both in the USA and worldwide,” said Walltopia CEO Ivaylo Penchev.
One large project of the Bulgarian supplier is currently under construction in the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev, where the first “Walltopia Adventure Hub” is being built (c.f. EAP news from July 7th, 2016). (eap)
