Canada: “TAG E-karting & Amusement Centre“ to Open in Québec in Spring 2021
As of spring 2021, tyres will squeal at the new TAG E-karting & Amusement Centre facility in the Canadian city of Sainte-Thérèse in the South West of Quebec province. This new leisure experience will be developed on a groud space of around 6,000 square metres (65,000 square feet) and will focus on kart sport, but in a environmentally-friendly way. The small motorised karts will be electrict karts supplied by Italian manufacturer CRG, therefore there will be no scent of exhault gases. TAG E-karting will provide visitors with three different karting tracks – one for kids, one for adults and one 500 metre-long track that combines both.
Alex Tagliana, founder and former Canadian motorsport professional, says that the development of the 18 million Canadian Dollar (around 11.6 million Euros) project has been a team effort: “For me it’s a team effort, just like in motorsports, you need a strong team to help you achieve your goals. […]“ Besides karting tracks, the amusement center will offer visitors a variety of leisure experiences such as axe throwing, laser tag, bowling, virtual reality, interactive trampolines, a 7D interactive cinema, arcades and an interactive climbing wall.
