Canada: WhiteWater Still One of Canada‘s “Best Managed“ Businesses
The “Canada‘s Best Managed Companies“ program, established by the international management consulting group Deloitte, has been recognizing companies for their outstanding performance every year since 1993. To be considered, participating businesses must be headquartered in Canada and generate a revenue of 50 million Dollar p.a. This year, 31 companies received the “Gold Standard“, which recognizes companies that have been part of the program’s “Best Managed“ status for four to six years and are committed to the program. Among the lucky awardees of this year‘s “Gold Standard“ is Vancouver-based WhiteWater West, which specializes in water attractions.
“The Gold Standard status recognizes WhiteWater’s consistency in pursuing excellence in all areas of the business, from strategic planning to corporate culture to how we adapt to changing market conditions,” said WhiteWater CEO Geoff Chutter. “It acknowledges the efforts of the entire organization and serves as an additional testimony for clients who are looking for a strong partner to collaborate with and for talented individuals who are looking for a great place to work.” (eap)
