Cirque du Soleil Announces New Exclusive Show for Hawaii
To date, 32 Cirque du Soleil shows delight audiences around the world. Most recently the entertainment group has announced a new permanent show in cooperation with the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel in Hawaii. Exclusively in Honolulu, the show will be presented from the end of 2024. It will be shown in the approximately 20,000-square-feet event space of the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, which is operated by Outrigger Hospitality Group. The venue, previously used by Magic of Polynesia, is being renovated for the Cirque du Soleil show by architectural team G70. Project estimating is done by RLB.
“Cirque du Soleil is an iconic company at the apex of entertainment; we are confident that the show created for Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel will delight and astound our guests and residents. This collaboration with Cirque was years in the making and perfectly aligns with Outrigger’s brand elevation strategy, which includes a promise to provide authentic live music and signature experiences in renowned beach locations,” said Jeff Wagoner, president and CEO of Outrigger Hospitality Group.
