Downfall of Fast Food Image Puts a Finish to McDonald’s-Disney Cooperation

More than ever, fast food is getting a bad rap in the US. As previously reported, Gov. “Arnie” Schwarzenegger spoke up for a ban on fast food in California’s public schools last year. Pretty soon there won’t be any more Disney characters in McDonald’s Happy Meals. Both companies would prefer to keep things hush and are playing down their decision. In any case, this just might be the first step towards a long overdue review of the fast food problematic, or even the end of the fast fool dominion. (eap)
