Europa-Park Presents “Austria” in New Splendour

© EAP-Magazin (eap) After the debut of the new “Voltron” rollercoaster and the “Croatia” theme area at Europa-Park in Rust just a few weeks ago (read also the cover story of our latest EAP magazine issue), today the Austrian themed area has been relaunched with, among other attractions, the new “Magic Gorge of Diamonds” (G.: “Zauberschlucht der Diamanten”). Based on the former Magic World of Diamonds the walkthrough is designed as an alpine mountain world through which raging rivers carve their way. Plunging waterfalls and majestic cliffs impress visitors... Another highlight especially for the younger guests is the “Yomi Adventure Trail”. This leads to a path up to twelve metres high with obstacles such as suspension bridges, climbing elements and slides.

The “Alpenexpress Enzian” Powered Coaster and the “Tiroler Wilderwasserbahn” log flume (both from Mack Rides) are also back in new splendour in the Austria area. The Alpenexpress is now also equipped with a lift for wheelchair users. There is also a new VR adventure that can be experienced on the coaster: “Fina & the Yomis – Magic World of Diamonds VR” takes passengers on a virtual journey, which quickly turns into an exciting plunge through a magical cave landscape reminiscent of the former “Yomi Magic World of Diamonds”. Find out all about these new experiences at Europa-Park in our next EAP issue no. 4/2024 (to be published on July 1st). ■
