Europe: TripAdvisor Presents Travellers‘ Choice Awards for Amusement and Water Parks 2017

TripAdvisor, an online platform for travelers around the world, recently presented this year’s Travellers’ Choice Awards for Amusement Parks and Water Parks 2017, choosing Germany’s Europa-Park as the most popular destination in Germany and Europe for the already 5^th time in a row. In the worldwide ranking, the park reaches the third place following Universal’s Island of Adventure (1^st place) and the also Orlando-based Discovery Cove water animal park (2^nd place).

 According to TripAdvisor, millions of participants shared their opinions on criteria such as innovation, quality and versatility of the offers, attention to detail, helpful staff and the overall organization. The results of the ranking show a high valuation of these points for Germany’s largest amusement park. Also the park’s hotel offerings were highlighted by the guests. Since June this year, Europa-Park is enthusing visitors with its new “Voletarium” Flying Theater, which is currently Europe’s largest attraction of this type (c.f. EAP, 4/17).

In the ranking of the most popular amusement parks within Europe, France’s Puy du Fou took the second place followed by Tivoli in Copenhagen/Denmark.
