France: Disneyland Paris Presents Two New Shows in 2016
Visitors to Disneyland Paris can look forward to two new family shows this year. As the French theme park announced, it will present the musical “The Forest of Enchantment – A Disney Musical Adventure” between February 10 and May 8, which will take the audience on a journey through an enchanted forest. The production will feature famous Disney characters such as Pocahontas, Tarzan, Rapunzel and Merida singing the most popular songs known from the Disney films. Particularly the musical’s stage set with its frequently changing sceneries, the choreography and the acrobatics will be impressive. “The Forest of Enchantment” is an exclusive production for the park, developed under the leadership of Show Director Christophe Leclercq. Vasile Sirlie, Music Director at Disneyland Paris, created the music in cooperation with the US-American composers Gordon and Lisa Goodwin.
The second production, the black light show “Mickey and the Magician”, has been developed exclusively for the park as well. As of July 2016, visitors can experience how characters including Mickey, the Genie from “Aladdin” or Rafiki from “The Lion’s King” come alive at the Walt Disney Studios Park. (eap)
