France: New 5D Attraction Going Up at Futuroscope

Just in time for the Christmas holidays, Futuroscope is set to initiate a soft opening phase for its new attraction, “La Machine à Voyager Dans le Temps” (Eng.: The Time Machine). This new 5D attraction replaces the former “Les Animaux du Futur” interactive dark ride and takes visitors along with “The Raving Rabbits” (Fr.: Les Lapins Crétins) created by French computer game developers Ubisoft on an unusual journey through time. Passengers wear 3D glasses and are seated in a carriage on a “toilet seat” for the fun sojourn through history. The story starts in the Stone Age and continues through classical antiquity through to the conquest of America and beyond. (eap)
