France: Puy du Fou Develops First Own Video Game

This news should make the hearts of video game fans and Puy du Fou lovers beat faster: The French theme park is planning to launch its first own video game in spring 2022, for console and PC. To this end, it has teamed up with Microïds, a video game publisher and distributor founded in Paris in 1985.
In the first edition, players will be able to immerse themselves in the three great Puy du Fou adventures, “The Vikings” (Les Vikings), “The Sign of Triumph” (Le Signe du Triomphe) and “The Secret of the Lance” (Le Secret de la Lance).
“We’re thrilled about Puy du Fou’s teams entrusting us to adapt the different universes of the well-known theme park into a video game. Microïds is dedicated to bringing life to video games made in collaboration with key players from the entertainment industry. We cannot wait to share the first visuals of the game with Puy du Fou enthusiasts,” declares Stéphane Longeard, CEO of Microïds.
