GB: Jamie Christon Promoted New Chester Zoo CEO

Jamie Christon, who most recently held the position as Chief Operating Officer at Britain`s Chester Zoo, recently took over as the new CEO of the zoological institution and popular visitor attraction. His responsibilities include to lead the zoo’s Covid-19 recovery strategy in order to ensure safe zoo operations for employees and visitors, and to ensure the financial stability of the business following a series of forced closures caused by the pandemic. In addition, Christon will focus on strengthening the zoo’s position as a leading global conservation organisation which is fighting to prevent the extinction of highly threatened species. (eap)
