Germany: Apassionata Theme Park Planned to Open in Munich
Germany’s Apassionata Entertainment GmbH plans to finance the construction of a horse show and entertainment park featuring a show palace in Munich through the issue of a bond of 30 million Euros. Scheduled to open in the spring/summer of 2016, the Apassionata show palace with 1,700 seats will be the centerpiece of the park. By mid-2016, the opening of twelve themed pavilions, which will be opened all year round, will follow. Attractions will include a foal station, a 360-degree-cinema, a petting zoo as well as a horse museum. The park and the show palace are planned to be built on a five hectare large area in the vicinity of Allianz Arena in Munich’s Fröttmaning district. The total investment for the project amounts to 47.5 million Euro (37.5 million Euro provided by Apassionata Entertainment GmbH, 10 million Euro provided by private investors). Europe’s live entertainment horse show has already inspired more than six million visitors in the last twelve years. (eap)
