Germany: Badenweiler Thermen und Touristik GmbH Sets Course for the Future
Since this month, Doris Räuber, former director of the Cassiopeia Therme located in Badenweiler, has been new general manager of Badenweiler Thermen und Touristik GmbH (BTT). Räuber will oversee the thermal bath’s daily operations as well as other related departments with 86 employees. She succeeds Anna Falk, who was appointed interim general manager in June.
With the appointment of Doris Räuber the BTT sets its future course, which includes the corporate separation of the company. As of 2021 the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg will be the sole shareholder of the BTT and will advance the operational system as well as renovation plans for the Cassiopeia Therme. In contrast, the municipality of Badenweiler will be responsible for the tourism marketing of the spa from 2021. (eap)
