Germany: Berthold Schmitt Re-Elected as Chairman of German Bathing Association DGfdB
During this year’s interbad trade fair in Stuttgart, Berthold Schmitt, Managing Director of KölnBäder, has been re-elected as Chairman of the German Bathing Association DGfdB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für das Badewesen e.V.), which focuses on supporting German bathing complexes in their development and in the adaptation of steadily changing framework conditions.
Schmitt has been a member of the Managing Board since 2000 and was elected Chairman in 2009 for the first time. Grateful for his re-election, he comments: “The continued existence and further development of the bathing landscape are important topics which I do not only care about in Cologne. I’m looking forward to continuing to serve the spa industry and its interests on a national level.” (eap)
