Germany: Ebeling Provides the Magic of Light

For more than half a century the Bremen-based company Ebeling has been providing beautiful light decorations for fairgrounds and amusement parks all over the world. Especially many of the so-called “Christmas markets”, which are popular attractions in all over Germany, are year after year lovingly staged with individual light creations by Ebeling. Also the city of Paderborn has been commissioning the company to bring the “glamour” into the Christmassy city centre for decades. This year again, the pedestrian zones of the cathedral city Paderborn are decorated with bright street spans with the special theme “100 springs”, numerous tree installations by means of branch wrappings and illuminated letterings such as “Winter Wing” and “Cassiopeia Rise”.

“This year we have not only installed eight huge ‘pentor stars’ but also added further tree installations with approx. 5,000 to 6,000 light points,” says Ebeling’s managing director Frank Gutheil. Especially in this extremely challenging year he is very delighted that despite the cancellation of the Christmas markets in Germany due to the Corona crisis the cities nevertheless wish to get their seasonal decoration. Among the cities and places that will be festively illuminated in 2020 are Bremen, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Herford and the island of Sylt, to name a few. A real ray of hope, especially this year!
