Germany: Europa-Park Starts Online Charity Auction to Mark 40th Anniversary

On the occasion of its anniversary season Germany’s Europa-Park together with the charity auction portal “United Charity” auctions special experiences and historical curiosities within the next 40 weeks. According to the park, “those who always dreamed of staying overnight at Europa-Park’s Enchanted Forest or owning a historical decoration element from the park will have the opportunity fulfil their dream now”. A total of 40 auctions will be held on www.europa-park.de and www.unitedcharity.de. All proceeds will be donated to the two non-profit organizations “Einfach helfen e.V.” and “Santa Isabel e.V.”. Bids can already be submitted for a VIP package for the whole family including not only participation at the official opening ceremony, where the Mack family will launch the anniversary year, but also two nights in a themed suite of the park’s four-star hotel “Colosseo” as well as a personal guide who can answer questions during the stay and provide exciting background information. To top it off, a ride in a hot air balloon provides the possibility to enjoy Europa-Park from above. (eap)
