Germany: Filmpark Babelsberg to Expand Program Portfolio

Since the 1^st of May, the program portfolio of Germany’s Filmpark Babelsberg has been expanded by the addition of “The Military Camp”, a film quote taken from the Hollywood movie “The Monuments Men”. A few months ago, an extraordinary film set had been established in the park for the shooting of the Hollywood blockbuster, featuring a star cast including George Clooney. Filmpark Babelsberg took over the exhibits and props of the film production and newly arranged them in collaboration with prop masters, decorators and film craftsmen. The film set was presented to the public for the first time as part of the park’s backlot tour at the beginning of May. (eap)
