Germany: Inselbad Bahia Features New Water Playground

Inselbad Bahia in the German town of Bocholt opened a new water playground in early October to complement its existing children’s wading pools. Under the motto “tropical island” the Roigk company supplied around 20 attractions from their “Tiergarten” [zoo] product line. Each of these were affixed with a universal anchor also supplied by the Roigk company, making them modular in design that can be changed out at any time. In addition, the expanded area includes a water rocker, an “Oxy 6” jellyfish, and floor jets with adjustable RGB LED crowns of light.

Artist Davin Beavan was commissioned with the colour scheme and wall murals, and Procon supplied the special floor coating for the 170 square metre space. The Ledos AG company was responsible for the water technology.
