Germany: Klafs Offers Dry Salt Inhalation Device for Retrofitting

Klafs, a leading German manufacturer of sauna cabins and wellness facilities, recently launched the new “SaltProX” device featuring the so-called “Microsalt” technology for dry salt inhalation at sauna and spa facilities, which had initially been developed by Dutch company Microsalt International BV (cf. EAP, 6/2010) and which was later taken over by Klafs, including the know-how and all property rights. The new device can now be retrofitted and is ideal for private use. Furthermore, Klafs recently received the patent for the Microsalt technology by the German Office for Patents and Trade Marks (Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt) based in Munich. (eap)
