Germany: Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg Elected Most Popular Tourist Destination in Germany

In the “Top 100 Sights and Attractions in Germany” online ranking, which has been conducted by the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) since 2012 on an annual basis, Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg has again been selected as Germany’s no. 1 destination, again reaching this premier position as in the 2016 ranking results. The popular miniature world is followed by Europa-Park (Germany’s largest theme park) and Neuschwanstein Castle. According to the GNTB, just under 32,000 international tourists from more than 60 countries selected their favorite sites in Germany during the months of September 2016 through June 2017.
