Germany: New Start for Snow Dome Bispingen
On November 2nd, 2013 Snow Dome Bispingen celebrated its reopening at the facility’s premises, located directly on the A7 autobahn in Bispingen, Germany. As we previously reported, this indoor ski hall had to shut down operations completely late last March due to urgently needed renovations (cp. EAP News from March 28th, 13 & Sept. 5th, 13). At the conclusion of an intensive conception phase, the owners decided in favor of reopening the ski hall. Having adjusted the operation’s opening hours, installed a new cooling system and serviced the ski lift facilities, the Snow Dome now also features snow sports instructors on the slopes to teach tips and tricks to skiers, snowboarders and sledders. “We are determined to ensure that our guests have a perfect experience from their arrival until they leave. And this also includes offering them the assistance they need to have even more skiing and snowboarding fun”, emphasized CEO José Fernandes in describing the concept of this new service. Snow Dome’s catering services have also received some new added features. The “Marktrestaurant” is now open and providing balanced diet meals that are freshly prepared before the eyes of the visitors. The former Central Bar has been transformed into the “Gletscherblick” restaurant offering guests delicacies from traditional Austrian and Alpine cuisine. And the front area has now been converted into the Coffee Lounge. (eap)
