Germany: TimeRide Expands Virtual Offering in Munich

In summer 2019, TimeRide, provider of virtual city experiences, opened its third location in its founding city of Munich, where visitors since then have been able to enjoy a voyage over the Bavarian capital and through its history from “Barbarossa” (Frederick I., Holy Roman Emperor) to the first ever “Oktoberfest“ (cf. EAP news of 16 June 2019). As of today, visitors will additionally be offered a “fly over“ experience over the modern metropolis.

For the new virtual flight experience visitors board the peacock carriage, known from the original TimeRide Munich experience. Guests will be able to enjoy a 360 degrees panoramic view over city landmarks such as the “Frauenkirche“ or the Olympic Stadium by the use of VR glasses. Even the Oktoberfest, which was cancelled for 2020, and its festive atmosphere will be seen from above. The two experiences can be booked in combination or seperately. (eap)
