Germany: Tropical Islands‘ Marketing Director Kim Schäfer Becomes New Customer Director German HUB at Parques Reunidos

With immediate effect, Tropical Islands‘ current Director Marketing & Sales, Kim Schäfer, is the new Customer Director German HUB for the Spanish operating group Parques Reunidos, whose portfolio includes the Brandenburg-based indoor bathing paradise. Schäfer has been promoted to enterprise-level after almost 15 years at Tropical Islands and will consequently be in charge not only of the marketing department of Tropical Islands but also of Belantis theme park and Weltvogelpark Walsrode, which also belong to the group.

“It is obvious to find synergies in marketing and sales between the individual parks from which we will all benefit and to bring the different parks closer together. In this way, each and everyone can benefit from the know-how of the other. This is an exciting new task that I am looking forward to as much as the close cooperation with the head office in Madrid,“ says Schäfer. One of Schäfer‘s first tasks will be to find a suitable successor. (eap)
